Launched in 1996, the Jaguar XK models were V8 grand tourers built in both 2 door Coupe and Convertible body styles. There was also a high performance variant with a supercharger, marketed as the XKR.

Replacing the XJS, the first generation of cars ran until 2006. These were the first cars to be fitted with Jaguar's new AJ V8 engine and the supercharged XKR model produced 370 horsepower.
The second generation of cars, built from 2006, had a much more modern look and even more power with the XK capable of 158mph and the supercharged XKR, now with 510bhp and capable of 174mph when un restricted. Production was phased out in 2014 with no XK replacement. The F Type is Jaguar's current offering.

Our car, a 2012 XKR Coupe, is fitted with the 5.0V8 supercharged engine and has covered just 24,325 miles from new. Finished in Stratos Grey metallic with Ivory leather and anthracite carpets it can only be described as stunning. Sitting on 20" 'Supercharged' double spoke alloys covering big red brake calipers you immediately know the car means business! Moving around the car you see the twin bonnet vents and black mesh grills at the front while bringing up the rear you have a larger rear spoiler and quad exhaust pipes. Inside the car is a touch of class. Whist being sporty, the car has a more luxury feel due to the choice of high quality trims. You have the Ivory perforated leather sports seats and lower door trims complemented with dark charcoal leather dashboard and door tops both with contrasting linen stitching. The gear lever surround and dashboard has Piano Black gloss features. Both front seats are fully electrically operated with memory function and heating/cooling options, the steering wheel is also electrically heated. As you would expect, the car has touchscreen Sat Nav, Bluetooth telephone preparation, digital radio and dual climate control to keep you comfortable. For safety and driver convenience, the car has bright Xenon headlights, cruise control and park sensors front and rear.

Supplied with the complete leather book packs, the car has full Jaguar service history up to 2017 at 20,300 miles with an additional lubrication service carried out by ourselves in 2018 less than a 1,000 miles ago. These cars are a real wolf in sheeps clothing and one as beautiful as this with low mileage is real value for money and is welcome to any inspection.
